CREATE YOUR OWN CUSTOM CHAIR

If you do not see a chair you like, then why not build the chair your want?

We are able to create the chair that you are looking for, using our modular components.

However, it may be cheaper to purchase a manufactured chair, because the chair is billed as one unit.

But choice is available, if you prefer another component to a chair that we currently build.

This is purely a cautionary note to make you are aware that costs may increase compared to an already-manufactured chair.

HOW TO START CREATE YOUR OWN CHAIR

1. Start by clicking on the base. We have chosen the 350 base, because in our experience, it is the strongest and most dependable base available.

2. Choose the casters for the base, according to what type of flooring the chair will be resting on: carpet, hardwood floors, of concrete,

3. Then choose the type of lift required. This will depend on the type of work being performed, while sitting on the chair. Desk heights are 80 -120 - 140 inches, according to people's back height. Drawing table is 200 inches and bar height is 270 inches..

4. Now choose a seat which will suit your needs for comfort.

5. Next choose the back, according to your need for support.

6. Finally choose the armrests, which are all adjustable for your comfort needs.

You now have created your very own chair.

Please check with Gail that this chair will is suitable for your daily activity needs. She would hate for you to discover, that it does not suit your needs.

Choose your Lift The lifts are dependent on the task that the chair is being used for. This will determine if the chair needs to be used for a desk, a counter or a bar height.
Choose your Seat This is where the weight of your body is positioned. All your body weight is directed through to your pelvic bones, which support your weight. You should be able to feel your pelvic bones resting through the seat of your chair. This is where the balance of your body is created, so you need to feel comfortable in your sear.
Choose your Back The back acts as a support for the back of the chair and your back. It is important for you to learn to sit up and then relax back in to the back for support. Try to figure out where you need the most support, according to the shape of the back supports.
